Good Friday

when moored at shillingford we had a walk and saw this flower is it white blue bell or wild garlic ?


 what is this for it says " conservation of the river Thames "

we left our mooring this morning about 7.30 it was a nice sunny morning but cold
just round the corner we saw this on barge up on the back the floods  must have put it there
 

here is another boat moored in a field look how high the Thames must have been  he going to have fun getting back in the river but good time to give the boat hull a blacking

 this is a footbridge just before Days lock and it where there hold the worlds pooh stick championship http://www.pooh-sticks.com/

 this is the start of the Wilts and Bucks canal which is being restored at moment they hope to have it ready for 2025 http://www.wbct.org.uk/ so come wrgies get you steelies on and help https://www.waterways.org.uk/wrg/
 
we moored up at Abingdon for the rest of day  it will be Oxford tomorrow
