today we left wheaton Aston and heading for just pass Brewood there is a nice mooring out in the countryside ,
on our 5 mile 1 lock  we saw a few things we took photos of

Audlem to Norbury Juction then onto Wheaton Aston

Sunday was a lovely morning so we heading up the just of the Audlem locks 13 in fact but it was ok not that many boats about so we did good time at the top lock there was a boat heading towards us and then came the shout we read your blog  thank you   NB Celtic kiwi

 after 3miles we moored up just before Adderley locks which we did Monday morning it was very quite on the canal as we headed to Market Drayton once moored Tina heading up to the shops ,in the afternoon peter and heather arrived on there boat NB Blackberry Way and we had a good chat in the afternoon ,
also moored at Market Drayton was NB Shropshire Lass owned by Terry  who we had two day course with before we got our boat
 also spotted there was the flowerpot men

on the way to Norbury we went pass a ex-Chocolate factory goods from here use to go by boat to  Cadburys Bournville

we saw this lovely cock pheasant

we heading off to Norbury Wharf to fill up with fuel as they are the cheapest boat yard fuel on the cut (as far as i know) 74.9
 Wednesday we heading for Wheaton Aston 
just to let you know where we are heading at mo
we are going to head down the Staffordshire &Worcestershire canal to Stourport-on-seven
then onto the River Seven down to the Droitwich canal
head over to the Worcester and Birmingham canal head back towards Birmingham up the Tardebigge locks that is 29lock of a rise of 217 feet if anyone like to help us we will buy a pint and meal at the top Stafford -on-avon canal down to lapworth and onto the Grand union canal down through Warwick then onto the Oxford Canal and then River Thames down to Reading up the Kennet &Avon canal to Thatcham  then we look at map again

last night the sky was clear so there was a good sunset so i went out and took some photos hope you like them

this morning was a lovely still morning so i went out with the camera again

we set of for Audlem today  which was not far only 3mile 2 locks   if the weather is ok tomorrow we got 13 locks to do

Hack green

we move from Nantwich this morning , the weather was a lot better not much wind and sun shinning  we heading for Hack Green which was about 3 miles and 2 locks

we left our mooring early in the morning and headed for Hurleston locks it was windy when we start but when we turned the corner the wind dropped and it was quite nice , we went down the first 3 locks and had to wait before we could get into last lock as there was a boat suck in the lock they had forgot to left the fenders ,so we waited about half hour for them to sort them self's out, once through the lock we could say goodbye to the Llangollen canal

we carried down the shropshire union canal till we got to Nantwich were we moored up as one of our Friend's were moored there and he was going to do some woodwork on board the boat
that was very very windy last night,

First duckling of the Year

very windy today but we still moved on and in the end did 8 miles and 6 locks and 2 lift bridge so quite a lot , we moored up near a place called Burland this is our mooring
, when moored a duck and her duckling came pass first ones we see this year

there is a bridge here that you could name a bridge of two sides
 good side

 bad side  think WRG should come here and restore it    been like it for a good couple of year i know of
also spring is slowly showing it colours

also saw this buzzard today

on the move

we left our winter mooring at Whitchurch this morning around 8am , it was not as windy as yesterday so we set off for Grindley brook locks ,
after 4 miles and 9 locks and 1 left bridge we moored up  just before 1pm , it was good to get underway again

not long to go

hi all
just to let you all know we will be starting our 2013 cruise on the 15th of April , starting from whitchurch on the llangollen canal heading down to the Shropshire union canal , then down into Birmingham , then we hope to head for the oxford but you all know plans change  , i will be updating our blog a lot more offen then ,  sorry to everyone who has been on our blog and no updates since Christmas  but all i could think of say was roll on the summer
