Hi all
Hope you had a lovely Easter hols
Tina and I had a really lovely time working on the chesterfield canal with WRG, we were build a foot bridge over the canal at Staveley. So we did lots of bricklaying the weather was OK apart from one day when it snowed and we stayed in and got bored

After 10 days away it took us a couple of days to get boat sorted and ready to go off again we went down the Erewash in a day and then onto the River Trent to sawley cut where we were going to stop but due to the rain the river level was up and the flood lock was going to be closed so we carried on, we are heading for Alvecote as we going to do a BCN clean up weekend with the WRG they are over 50 going and we are cleaning up around Walsall arm
We are hoping to get to Alvecote Thursday ready to be picked up on Friday  then back Sunday   not sure what we are going to do next  as my Mum and Dad are coming up to see us around May 13th hope to meet them around Alrewas as they like to go to the NMA.  while we had some nice weather Tina has been painting

On the way down the Erewash we saw this snake swimming

Also saw the first duckling of the year

This is sunset at sawley cut when we were going up to Langley mill and I forget I took them
