hi all
we left hawkesbury junction on Friday morning and we soon where going pass Charity dock a great place

Tina was doing the steering around here
then we went passed Ashby canal and moored up just pass Ashby some work boats past us here

martin and SAM

,Saturday we went through Nuneaton which was not to bad  and moored up just outside Mancetter Tina went to see the church there which dates from the 13thC and it had a large collection of 18thC slate tombstones , Sunday we went through Atherstone down 11 locks carrying on to Polesworth we went pass Grendon dock where there were some old work boats moored up

while moored up at Polesworth  this old steam tug Laplander came pass steaming past

just taking down chimney just before bridge

Monday we left Polesworth went through Tamworth which is nice
and the we went down the Birmingham & Fazeley canal we came across this footbridge which was unusual

we went down the canal to the first lock and moored up right next door to Kingsbury water park http://www.warwickshire.gov.uk/kingsburywaterpark

the lock which is lock 11 had some lovely well kept flower boxes

we have seen some wildlife in last few days

Tuesday we went back to Fazeley junction and turned left and headed for Hopwas where we moored for the night
