EREWASH CANAL TO FRADLEY JUNCTION

After a really good week working on the cromford canal with the WRG must say it was the first time we had left our boat for more than a day since we started and we really did miss it and was glad to get back to GO FOR IT ,Saturday afternoon we stocked up with food and water ready for the off on Sunday we like to take Pete at Langley mill for looking after our boat all week , Sunday morning we left about 8.30am and started our way back down the Erewash canal luckily for us all the locks were full so after 6 and half hours we had made it to Trent lock 11miles 13 lock for us that was a good day , Monday we went as far as Swarkstone which was 9 miles and 6 locks we have moored here a few times , Tuesday we decided to stop just before Burton upon Trent but we still down 9 miles but only 1 lock that night we said we would go to the IWA waterways festival on Friday so Wednesday we set off for Branston which was other side of Burton and we had moored there before and liked the mooring on the way we saw NB spider

when we were moored up at Branston we saw quite a few boats going to IWA festival one had some other wrgies on

also while we were moored we did some wildlife
