we set of about 9 and went through Saddington tunnel and onto Debdale wharf were we filled up with fuel (very help full give them 100%) and so onto foxton until you come round the corner you do not realise how high you are going to go.we moored at the bottom and Tina went off to find the lock keeper and Terry came down with her to help, he was very helpful and very informative .What must it been like when they said we going to build 10 lock here to go up and down and built it all by hand ??
Once we got to the top we stopped and had a bacon bap and hot chocolate and went over to where the Foxton inclined plane was ,that all so must have look good when working .
we left foxton and carried on down mooring up at Bridge 47 for the night .I went off for a little walk and saw this wild flower and was not sure what it was so I will ask any off you know ? (photo below)
