on the Kennet and Avon canal

Yes at last we are out and about  it is good to be out on the cut again and we really enjoying the K&A

we have seen some old friends and met new ones ,

as usual I have been busy with my camera and took some nice photos

winters over

hello all , yes we are moving again, it has been a long winter and we are glad to be moving again still no plans yet were we will be heading but for May we will be around Thatcham .    this winter we have had some work done on the boat , had new battery bank fitted , new webasto heater fitted and a new cratch cover

 this is our new cratch cover it was made by Kinver canopies  very good service and price  well made  

we are going to get them to do our rear cover this autumn
this summer we are going to do two weeks working on the Chesterfield canal with waterway recovery group below are some link that you may wish to take a look at , and if you have ever thought about doing some volunteer work  waterway recovery group are always looking for more  come and join us

Nearly back to Newbury

well the last 6 months have flow pass , but we have a good time and seen lots of new places and lots of  interesting place , and met lots of new and old friends on the way  hello again from us

well since last post from the Ashby we have travel down the Coventry canal onto the north oxford and then onto the south oxford canal and then onto the River Thames we done 112mile and 52 locks
and we got 26 miles to go and 22 locks so anyone local that got a spare day like to do some lock wheeling let us know

 now this cow was walking up and down the railway and the trains had to slow up 

 going very slow I wonder how late it made everyone

 then the  men in hiviz came and got the cow back into a field

we moored up at Pangbourne meadows  we moor there in April and took some photos of them doing the Whitchurch Toll Bridge 
well Yesterday they opened it  only cost £5.6 million including VAT and this is a over spend £1.2milllion including VAT  not bad I am not sure when it was to be opened but I no it late
